About Cutting Edge
Cutting Edge was set up in 1996 by Tim Eyte, an Environmental Science graduate.
Tim passed a Foundation degree course and a certificate in Higher Education in land-based industries whilst attending Bicton and Seale-Hayne agricultural colleges in Devon. Here he gained hands-on experience in agriculture and achieved NPTC qualifications in chainsaw operations and tractor handling. On completion of these courses, he was able to continue his studies at Brighton University, where he gained a B.Sc(Hons) degree in Environmental Science.
Starting off with general garden maintenance, the business has grown sufficiently for Tim take on a small team of full-time staff. As the company has grown over the last 10 years, so the company has taken on bigger projects, such as patios and decking, and small building work, whilst still not neglecting the regular maintenance work for valued long-term customers.
The administration side of the business is handled by Tim's wife, Annette.
The company is based in Worthing, West Sussex. Although we have taken on jobs as far afield as London and Bournemouth, nearly all our work is carried out within an hour's drive from Worthing in West or East Sussex.
